日本一家公司研制成一种新型消音钢材。其成分是在钢中加入一定数量的铬和铝。它的振动发声能力仅为传统钢材的几百分之一。用这种钢材制造的钢板摔在水泥地上,也不会发出声响;用它制造的钢门窗,即使用力敲打,室内也不会听到。
A Japanese company developed a new type of silencer steel. Its composition is to add a certain amount of chromium and aluminum in the steel. Its vibration vocal ability is only a few hundredths of traditional steel. Steel plates made of this type of steel fell on concrete without sounding; steel doors and windows made of it were not heard indoors even with hard beat.
