烧锅营子地区金矿的形成主要是由构造活动、岩浆侵入和围岩蚀变等成矿控制因素综合作用的结果,东西向构造带严格控制着金矿带、金矿床呈等距离展布,与其具有成生联系的次级东西向、北东向和北西向断裂又是含金矿脉的主要容矿构造.合金矿脉皆产于岩体边缘相地带,且与细粒闪长岩脉相伴而存,表明脉岩矿脉于空间上、时间上及成因上和燕山期黑云母花岗岩浆的演化活动有关,三者为同源关系.
