The development of “two bombs and one satellite” is a wise decision made by the Chinese Communist Party under extremely harsh international conditions in the 1950s and 1960s. Its brilliant achievements have broken the imperialist nuclear blackmail and nuclear monopoly. The implementation of this strategic decision not only accumulated successful experiences for the leapfrog development of science and technology in our country, but also created precious spiritual wealth for the Chinese nation and won more power in our country as a big power in the world today. The establishment of a spaceflight measurement ship base is an important part of China’s national defense science and technology development strategy. Its construction and development have made important contributions to China’s strategic arms and various satellites and manned space flight tests.
