词汇是语言表达和理解的基础,在大学英语教学中词汇教学起着举足轻重的作用。作为高校英语教师,应认真研究英语词汇的教学与学习方法,帮助学生对词汇进行个性化分类,以便分门别类地记住单词,在词与词之间建立某种横向和纵向的联系,在已掌握的原有词汇基础上牢固掌握不熟悉或不认识的词汇,把原本孤立的单词从形、音、义、用法、文化背景等不同的角度联系起来,形成一个记忆网络。
