弗洛伊德的精神分析原理已被广泛应用于文学作品评论,在《占有》这部小说中更体现了它的价值。通过对不同时代四位女性的共同心理及内心渴望的探究,可以得出如下结论:女性想获得真正的快乐和幸福,就要寻求自我、本我、超我的平衡——首先女性要了解自我和本我,了解自己的生活状态和自己内心真正渴望什么,在不违背自己的道德准则即超我的前提下,追求到自己的理想的生活。
Freud’s psychoanalytic principles have been widely used in literary criticism, and its value is embodied in the novel Possession.
