许多读者知道胡宁先生 (1916 2 11— 1997 12 2 6 )是享有国际声誉的著名理论物理学家 ,但也许并不了解他还喜爱作诗、绘画和运动 (滑雪、游泳、滑冰 ) ,欣赏京剧和古典音乐 ,兴趣十分广泛 .本刊连载“粒子诗抄”中登出胡宁先生诗数首后 ,即有读者向编辑部反映 ,希望能看到先生更多的诗作 .在胡宁先生离开我们五周年之际 ,我们再刊登先生诗词九首 ,附以张之翔教授的短文 ,同时还在本刊封二刊出先生早期风景油画作四幅 ,以飨读者 ,并表达我们对胡宁先生深切的怀念 .所刊诗词及油画由关娴、朱允伦提供 .
