中国艺术史的一个永恒真理是,当母题保持不变或被重新复兴时,风格依旧会变迁,只有在考古学家和风格历史学家的共同努力下,方有可能为风格特性分析提供坚实可靠的知识背景。科学的风格分析理论是伴随西方艺术史家研究领域的拓展而逐渐发展起来的。描述中国艺术史,需要一种能服务于其他诸如文学、思想等文化活动的结构。本文运用二重证据法,从历史文献学和艺术考古学出发,将中西方艺术理论家的学术观点及中国商周青铜器实物资料结合,以此作为研究中国青铜时代艺术精神的方法与途径。
