这是我第三次面对面地与阿科斯塔先生“交谈”了。不同的是，前两次都是在国内，一次是1990年在北京举行世锦赛期间，另一次是北京申办奥运，阿科斯塔作为单项委员会主席来北京检查工作之际。而这一次和他的“对话”则是在第13届世界女排锦标赛半决赛的赛场──日本大限体育馆内。
This is the third time I’ve “talked” with Mr. Acosta face-to-face. The difference is that the first two were all at home, one during the World Championships in Beijing in 1990, the other was Beijing’s bid for the Olympics and Acosta’s inspection of the work as the chairman of a single committee came to Beijing. This time and his “dialogue ” is in the 13th World Volleyball Championships semi-final venue ─ ─ Japan Grandstand Stadium.
