On February 26, the CPC Commission of Tongren, Guizhou announced that Zhang Zheng was appointed deputy secretary of this organization by the Guizhou Provincial CPC Commission.
Zhang Zheng, who was 36, once anchored several programs of CCTV, including“China Report”, “30-Min’ Economic News”and “Zheng Da TV Show”. In October 2008, Zhang Zheng was appointed the assistant to the Chairman of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. One year later, he was promoted the deputy Party secretary of Aletai, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
Zhang Zheng was born in April 1966. He began his career life after graduating from the broadcasting school of Beijing Broadcast Institute. In November 2003, he was appointed deputy director of the China Broadcasting Performing-Arts Troupe. In March 2006, Zhang Zheng was appointed deputy director of the China Performance Management Center. During that period, he also worked in CCTV as an anchorperson. In August 2008, he moved to Xinjiang as a government official. After working in Xinjiang for five years, he moved to Guizhou as the deputy Party secretary of Tongren.
