脂蛋白(a)(Lp(a))近年来已为人们所重视。Lp(a)的物理和化学性质与低密度脂蛋白(LDL)相似,这两种脂蛋白的主要蛋白都是载脂蛋白B_(100)(apoB_(100))。但是Lp(a)含有a 抗原决定基的糖基化蛋白,且经二硫键与apoB_(100)相连。由于这个糖基化蛋白使得Lp(a)在琼脂糖凝胶电泳中的迁移率与前β脂蛋白一致,其密度是1.050~1.120g/ml。Lp(a)的蛋白和脂类组成在个体间和个体内具有很大的不均匀性,而且它不是极低密度脂蛋白LDL 和乳糜微粒的代谢产物,是作为一种单独的脂蛋白被合成。血清中的脂蛋白(a)不能转变成其它脂蛋白。Lp(a)与细胞表面受体结合
