隐喻是一种语言现象也是一种认知现象。由于中英两种语言文化中隐喻现象存在许多的相似之处和差异的地方,本文将从几个方面来对比中英文化里存在的隐喻现象。另外,翻译作为跨文化交际活动的一个桥梁,要成功的将中英文化里的隐喻现象成功的互译,作者将依据Sperber和Wilsion的关联理论为依据,分析隐喻的理解实际是在适当的语境下寻求最佳关联的一个过程;作者也将根据关联理论的翻译观来探析隐喻的翻译问题。
Metaphor is a linguistic phenomenon is also a cognitive phenomenon. As there are many similarities and differences between the metaphorical phenomena in the two languages, the article compares the metaphorical phenomena existing in Chinese and English cultures from several aspects.
