专业英语是研究生的学位课程,其重要程度不言而喻;但目前研究生专业英语的师资力量不足,难以完成高效的专业英语教学任务。在专业英语的教学中外籍教师是较好的选择,这是由外籍教师自身的条件决定的;然而国内的外籍教师较缺乏,且具备专业知识背景的外籍教师少之又少,同时昂贵的聘任费用并不适用于所有高等院校。海外高年级留学生具备较高的英语水平,同时经过一段时间专业知识的学习已经具备一定的基础理论知识,可以较好地替代外籍教师来进行专业英语的教学。本院基于以上几点考虑,在畜牧学研究生专业英语中大胆尝试采用高年级海外留学生担任助教,协助主讲教师进行专业英语教学,获得了较好的效果。

Overseas senior students with high level of English, at the same time after a period of professional knowledge of learning already have some basic theoretical knowledge, you can better replace foreign teachers to carry out professional English teaching. Based on the above considerations, our college boldly tries to employ senior overseas students as teaching assistants in professional English for graduate students and assists teachers in conducting professional English teaching and obtains good results.
