已故全国政协原副主席、中国佛教协会原会长、中华诗词学会原名誉会长赵朴初先生是当代吟坛巨星和著名书法家,他才气纵横,德高望重,宽和仁爱,平易近人,在京和南下广东时曾有多帧诗词墨宝见赠,感念至今,先生诗书少追苏轼而多有东坡韵味,所书苏句“日啖荔枝三百颗,不妨长作岭南人”既是他对苏东坡的景仰,亦是他的南天情结。先生在广东从化温泉曾写下“浴起温泉,凉雨过,一时涤尽尘襟。不能长作岭南人,思携千嶂绿,点缀上林春”的
