《英语课程标准(实验稿)》对中学生应掌握的写作技能作出了明确的要求,要求学生能根据图画或文字所提供的信息,围绕文章的话题或主题,综合运用已学语言知识(词汇、句型和语法),写出不同题材和体裁的文章。由此可见,运用书面形式传递信息、进行交际是中学生应具备的基本能力之一。然而,英语写作一直是初中英语教学的薄弱环节。
The English Curriculum Standard (experimental draft) has made clear requirements on the writing skills that secondary school students should possess. Students are required to comprehensively apply knowledge of learned language (vocabulary, texts, Sentence patterns and grammar), write articles of different themes and genres. Thus it can be seen that the use of written form to transmit information and communicate is one of the basic abilities that middle school students should have. However, English writing has been the weak link in junior high school English teaching.
