Pregnant women with preeclampsia limited blood volume expansion for the clinical understanding of more than 70 years of history. Although the mechanism of this change is unknown, the results of current studies show that it is closely related to the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RASS) and dysfunction of the vasodilator system. The limited capacity of pregnant women with preeclampsia expansion of this feature undoubtedly have a great impact on all aspects of treatment. This review summarizes the limited levels and possible mechanisms of hypovolemia in preeclampsia and the impact of hypovolemia in preeclampsia on their related therapies.
