过去在英语教学中普遍存在着两种教学方式,第一种是逐句逐段翻译课文,然后进行一定的语法分析,摘出课文中的几个语法点进行举例说明。另一种是把大量时间用于读单词,朗读课文,背诵课文,回答问题,只对与语言点有关的句子做简单的说明和举例。显然这两种教学方式已经很难适应新教材教学的要求,要教好新教材必须更新观念,改进教学方法,这样才能保证教学质量。只有当学生真正有了学习的兴趣,他们才能自觉地去学习、钻研,才能在学习中处于主动地位,真正成为学习的主人。
In the past, there were two kinds of teaching methods commonly used in English teaching. The first one was to translate the texts sentence by sentence, then analyze the grammar and extract some grammatical points from the texts for illustration. The other is to spend a lot of time reading words, reading texts, reciting texts, answering questions, and simply giving explanations and examples of sentences related to language points. Obviously these two teaching methods have been difficult to adapt to the requirements of new teaching materials, teaching new materials must update their concepts and improve teaching methods, so as to ensure the quality of teaching. Only when students really have the interest of learning, can they consciously study and research so that they can take the initiative in study and become the masters of study.
