西方人把“方便”视为秘不示人的个人隐私,常常使用委婉语。在欧美各国商业街上一般都没有公共厕所,需要“方便”时可以到餐馆、旅店、商场、车站、加油站、电影院、图书馆、展览馆、体育馆等处去找,一般来说不会遭拒绝。
