As an adventurer, I have visited Qinghai Kekexili, Tibet’s northern Tibetan plateau, and the Xinjiang Taklimakan desert, known as the “sea of death.” However, for the most people who have had the desire to “conquer” for years, it is the subtropical jungle that has the reputation of China’s “Amazon” at the southern tip of Yunnan. It is not only active tigers, leopards, rhinoceroses, gilt-headed monkeys and other exotic animals and animals, but also the only activity area of Asian elephants in China. In mid-October 2001, the author and his party and three people broke into this vast expanse of virgin forest. One week’s wild survival experience was amazing!
