广西甘蔗研究所所长彭绍光同志编著的《甘蔗育种》一书已印成。该书是作者广泛搜集了国内外有关甘蔗育种资料,结合其本人从事甘蔗研究三十多年的实践经验编写而成的;广泛深入论述了甘蔗分类、甘蔗开花、甘蔗选育种和良种繁殖方法,还详细介绍了国内外甘蔗新品种。全书共20多万字,并附图19幅。本书可供甘蔗育种工作者及农业院校师生参考。
