本试验用垂直平板聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳法,比较分析了我国南方糯玉米的过氧化物酶同工酶。共测定了70个品种(系),其中53个糯玉米,17个其他玉米类型、玉米野生亲缘种。结果表明,我国南方糯玉米的大多数(86.8%)品种,其过氧化物酶同工酶带特征与起源于中国的Coix 属相似,具有第5带。而起源于美洲大陆的马齿型玉米则具有第4带。这就进一步证明,中国糯玉米(Zea mays Sinensis)可能原产于我国南方。中国不仅是玉米的次生起源中心,而且也可能是初生起源中心之一。
In this study, the vertical plate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, comparative analysis of southern China glutinous maize peroxidase isozymes. A total of 70 varieties (lines) were tested, including 53 waxy maize, 17 other maize types and maize wild relatives. The results showed that the majority (86.8%) of waxy corn in southern China had the same characteristics of peroxidase isozymes as those of Coix originating from China, with the fifth band. The dent-originated corn in the American continent has the 4th band. This further proves that Chinese waxy corn (Zea mays Sinensis) may be native to southern China. China is not only the secondary origin of corn but also one of the centers of birth.
