近年来,宾阳县芒圩镇乡镇企业迅速崛起,专业村已发展到48个,集体、个体企业6275家,从业人员19201人,形成了规模较大的制革、毛笔、农机、鞭炮、瓷器、轧钢等商品生产基地。1992年,该镇乡镇企业产值为0.49亿元;1993年达1.9亿元;1994年全镇10个行政村的乡镇企业收入都超千万元,总产值3.86亿元,连续两年翻番,成为广西百强乡镇之一。
