在中学语文教材中,小说篇目共24篇,占总篇数的14%,小说的篇幅如此之多,可见小说的艺术魅力之大。小说以本身特有的魅力深受学生们的喜爱。没有虚构就没有小说,在小说中,虚构有着不可更移的艺术规律。在教学中教师要让学生明白小说虚构的意义,学会从小说创作中挖掘虚构之处,学会借鉴虚构之法,学会运用虚构之妙,让虚构成为提高想象、幻想能力、开拓意境,提炼生活的一种途径。
