我场地处红壤丘陵,果园周围有许多荒山荒地。一九六五年定植的温州蜜柑从一九七一年开始结果起,就受到了吸果夜蛾的严重危害。一九七二年,受夜蛾危害脱落的果实约占当年产量的十分之一。据一九七三年观察,危害柑桔果实的夜蛾有七种,其中以枯叶夜蛾、嘴壶夜蛾、银纹夜蛾、棉小造桥虫等较多。我们虽然用人工持手电筒捕杀了一些夜蛾,但九、十月间落果仍然十分严重。
My field is located in red soil hills, there are many barren hills around the orchard wasteland.
