本成果填补了上海地区葡萄品种以“巨峰”为主,过于单一,和无核品种尚属空白的不足。自1979年始(于1986年被列入市科委重大项目),经10余年研究,从40余个大粒葡萄与8个无核品种中按照严格的引种研究程序,成功地选出5个优良品种。“新先锋”是1987—1989年对“先锋“进行无核化研究的成果。采收时无核率可达95％—100％,果粒大小、品质与原品种相同,成熟期提早10天,每亩地可比巨峰净增收1050元。“国宝”系从国外引进,大粒早熟品种,比巨峰早熟15天左右,果粒紫黑色,着色整
