美国FDA于2011年1月26日宣布,女性植入硅胶隆胸可能会引起一种非常罕见的癌症,即间变性大细胞淋巴瘤(anaplastic large cell lymphoma,ALCL)。FDA掌握的数据显示,进行过植入性隆胸手术的女性其邻近植入假体的疤痕包膜组织可能会有很小但显著的ALCL发病率。
The US FDA announced on January 26, 2011 that implantation of silicone breast implants may cause a very rare form of cancer, anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL). Data available to the FDA show that women with implanted breast augmentation may have a small but significant ALCL incidence of scar-coated tissue adjacent to the implanted prosthesis.
