铁路经济增长方式应由粗放外延型转变为以提高总和要素生产率为主的要素效率型．本文提出在“九五”期间及以后我国铁路应做好三个方面的工作，以实现经济增长方式的转变。
The mode of railway economic growth should be changed from the extensive extension type to the factor efficiency type with the total factor productivity increasing. This paper proposes that China’s railway should do a good job in three aspects during and after the “Ninth Five-year Plan” period so as to realize the transformation of economic growth mode.
