拉丁美洲区域经济合作进程始于60年代初期,先后形成4个地区一体化组织;拉美一体化协会、中美洲共同市场、加勒比共同体和安第斯集团。前3个组织分别覆盖南美洲(包括北美洲的墨西哥)、中美洲和加勒比3个地理区域,其成员国互不交叉。安第斯集团是个例外,其5个成员国又都是拉美一体化协会的成员国,因而它是在较大的地区集团内出现的小地区集团。1982年债务危机爆发前的20多年间,上述组织在推进区内贸易、加强地区合作意识和探索地区合作途径等方面,都程度不同地取得了一些成绩和经验。但由于当时一体化
The process of regional economic cooperation in Latin America began in the early 1960s with the formation of four regional integration organizations; the Latin American Integration Association, the Central American Common Market, the Caribbean Community and the Andean Group. The first three organizations cover South America (including North America, Mexico), Central America and the Caribbean three geographical areas, the member countries do not intersect each other. The Andean Group, with the exception of the five member countries that are members of the Latin American Integration Association, is a small regional group that appears within the larger regional group. Over the 20 years preceding the outbreak of the debt crisis in 1982, the above-mentioned organizations have made some achievements and experiences to varying degrees in advancing intra-regional trade, strengthening regional awareness of cooperation and exploring ways for regional cooperation. But because of the integration at the time
