In the past decade and more, new achievements in the field of Asian history research have challenged the traditional interpretation of the formation of the modern world. It is somewhat out of date to completely set the origins of the modern world and its historical development process entirely in the narrative mode of Europe. The new narrative model is more likely to view the origins of the modern world as a coincidental event and to locate its origin in other parts of Asia or beyond Europe. Therefore, the history of the rise of the modern world is no longer centered on Europe but is becoming a global event.
