On March 23, Minister of Health Chen Wei made it clear at the China Development High-Level Forum that the State Council has organized a work coordination group of 16 departments to carry out more than one year of extensive investigation and research on deepening the reform of the medical and health system. The overall framework of the reform will soon be widely consulted with the community. Chen Wei points out medical reform plan “four pillars and eight pillars of a building”: deepening medical care
