用INAA分析铀矿石、矿物中的稀土元素存在困难及很强的干扰,因此采用了照射前化学处理以除去铀。化学处理的流程是:样品用HF处理,HNO_3—HClO_4混酸溶解,在10MHCl介质中样品通过717阳离子交换树脂,流出液在pH=2的条件下,被P204—甲苯体系萃取,用7NHCl再萃取有机相,收集水相,蒸干后制成靶样。靶样放入池式反应堆活性区孔道,φ=1.5×10~(13)n/s.cm~2。照射10小时。在不同的冷却时间测量样品的r射线谱根据稀土元素的分布,讨论了道山关铀矿床的铀迁移方式及3701铀矿区的铀物质来源问题。
