近年来,在推进素质教育的过程中,教育部加大了对中考改革的力度,明确提出:初中毕业、升学考试应有利于改进学科教学,促进学生生动、活泼、主动地学习;有利于规范办学行为,减轻学生过重的课业负担;有利于培养学生的创新意识和实践能力;有利于建立科学的评估体系,准确反映义务教育的质量,并为高一级学校选拔优秀学生提供客观的依据。
