近年来,城市家庭小型化,大果型西瓜越来越不受市民的欢迎。小型西瓜因外观秀美、肉质细嫩、风味佳、单瓜小等特点倍受消费者青睐。小型西瓜较高的经济效益也刺激了瓜农的种植热情,栽培面积呈不断上升趋势,在上海、江苏、浙江、福建、海南、山东和河南等地已有广泛的栽培。但是小型西瓜的生育特征与普通西瓜相比有明显差异,因此在栽培上也有其特殊性。现将小型西瓜的栽培技术介绍如下。
