读者工作是图书馆工作的出发点和归宿,是社会教育的重要组成部分。十一届三中全会以后,传输了大量图书资料,滋润了大批社会人心。但应当看到新的历史形势也对图书馆读者工作提出了更高更新的要求,特别是读者辅导工作如何抓?作为社会教育文化机关的图书馆,不能不引起重视。可是,从事读者工作的人员,在读者服务活动中占什么地位,应发挥什么作用?是图书出纳兼阅读辅导,抑或二者各司其职,明确分工?
