Since the widespread use of various immunosuppressive agents in post-transplant patients, the first thing that has been seen is that when immunosuppressed recipients are removed from donors who have died of cancer, it appears that normal kidneys have developed cancer. Therefore, it is considered that the existing tumor cells in the donor kidney exist and are rapidly grown upon being immunosuppressed. In recent years, it has been found that the incidence of cancer in maintenance dialysis patients waiting for transplantation is high. Therefore, the problem of cancer in dialysis and transplant patients is getting more and more attention, and it is related to the question of whether a patient suffering from cancer can receive kidney transplantation.
