树木盆景的立意,即是确定主题思想。主题思想是艺术作品的灵魂,缺乏主题思想的作品,观之苍白无力,尝之味如嚼蜡,审之如行尸走肉。一提到立意,人们自然而然地就会想到“立意为先”四字,古往今来各门类的艺术创作无不以此为准则,盆景艺术亦然。但在多年的盆景创作实践中,我感到盆景艺术有其特殊性。文学、美术、音乐创作可按作者既定的主题思想不折不扣地挥洒开去,而盆景就不那么尽如人意了。树木不以人的意志为转移的生物特性、盆景商品
