穿山甲(学名:Manis pentadactyla,英名:Chinese Pangolin)是哺乳纲、鳞甲目(PHOLIDOTA)、鲮鲤科(Manidae)动物。其鳞片和肉被列为中药已有长久历史。中国药学资料指出它具消肿活血之效。据称对防治肿瘤有益。文献上曾指出它可与其它药物配伍,用于肝癌、肺癌、乳腺癌、白血病和恶性淋巴瘤等的治疗。有关穿山甲本身的疾病文献中不见记载;穿山甲的肿瘤更乏人研究。华南农学院牧医系病理教研室陈玉汉、中山医学院肿瘤研究所病理、免疫研究室陈灼怀和广东省昆虫研究所有关同志,于1981年从广东
Pangolin (scientific name: Manis pentadactyla, English name: Chinese Pangolin) is a mammalian, Pholidota, Manidae animal. Its scales and meat have been listed as a long history of traditional Chinese medicine. Chinese pharmaceutical materials indicate that it has the effect of swelling and blood circulation. It is said to be beneficial for the prevention and treatment of cancer. The literature has pointed out that it can be combined with other drugs for the treatment of liver cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, leukemia and malignant lymphoma. There are no records in the literature on diseases of the pangolin itself; pangolin tumors are much less researched.
