灰斑古毒蛾,又名沙枣毒蛾,属鳞翅目毒蛾科古毒蛾属。分布于我国黑龙江、吉林、辽宁、陕西、甘肃、宁夏、青海、山东等省区及欧洲一些地区,危害柳、杨、山毛榉、松、榆、桦、栎、鼠李、蔷薇、苹果、梨、李、山楂、踏朗、沙枣、酸枣、花棒、柠条、沙拐枣、沙米、梭梭、豆类等多种植物。近年来在内蒙古、宁夏、青海沙区灌木林大面积发生,危害沙生植物杨柴、柠条、花棒、沙拐枣、沙冬青等,对沙漠防护林构成巨大威胁,使国家三级保护植物沙冬青的保护受到挑战。
