作者根据临床经验发现,某些年老体弱病人在行走过程中与同伴交谈时会终止步行,这大概是由于走路时需注意力集中,而当需同时做另外一件事时,则会终止步行。作者由此对“止步交谈”现象预测跌倒事件发生的实用性进行了研究。
Based on clinical experience, the authors found that certain frail and elderly patients discontinue walking while talking with their peers during walking, presumably due to the concentration of attention while walking and the discontinuation when doing something else walk. The author of this “stop-and-talk” phenomenon to predict the occurrence of fall events have been studied.
