大悟县宣化店镇玄坛村地处大别山脉,位于湖北省最北端,比邻河南信阳罗山县,属革命老区,是我省开展精准扶贫的重点区域。近些年来,每年春节一过,初四、初五村里的年轻人就纷纷奔赴全国各地,投入到庞大的打工热潮之中,剩下一批留守老人、留守妇女和留守儿童。他们的日常生活相对单调,文化娱乐活动更是贫乏到几近没有。因此,村里每年都要举办农民文化艺术节,为单调的生活带来一丝绚丽色彩。而今年,玄坛村的文化艺术节比往届
