杨龙石名澥(海)字竹唐,别号甚多,有龙石、石公山人等。他生于清代乾隆四十六年(1781),卒于成丰五年(1855)以后。享年七十五岁以上。他是江苏松陵(吴江)人,中年移居吴门(苏州)。住在松鹤板场,以鬻印兼刻竹刻碑为生。可是到了道光二十四年(1844)六十四岁时,患半身不遂之疾,便逐渐和雕刻疏远,渐少刻了。他
