Epidemiological survey of dietary and liver diseases in two groups of people (retired veteran cadres) and vegetarians (old monks) showed that the prevalence of blood fat and fatty liver in the meat-eating group was higher than that in the vegetarian group, More fat related. The incidence of hepatitis in the vegetarian group was higher than that in the meat-eating group (P <0.01), possibly due to the increased chance of cross-infection due to the opening of the temple. The incidence of two groups of liver cancer no significant difference.
