Through the comparison and reflection on a section of English listening and speaking, this paper expounds the understanding of effective teaching philosophy. Teachers must respect the students, reasonably determine the teaching objectives, carefully design the teaching, carry out the skill teaching and training, and ensure the achievement of the established teaching goals.
