由于高等职业院校扩招过快等原因,出现了生源质量参差不齐,学生学习氛围差,学习目的不明确,学习兴趣低的现象。这在英语学科方面表现得尤为突出。在这种状况下,如果依然实行传统的“一刀切”的固有教学模式,必然会出现学习困难的学生增多、两极分化的局面,从而使教学质量难以保证,使英语教学陷入被动局面。要想扭转这一局面,切实的做到因材施教,使所有学生都得到发展,必须对传统的教学模式进行改革。在此情形下,一种适应教育现实情况,更为行之有效的教学模式应运而生——分层教学。
Due to the rapid expansion of higher vocational colleges and other reasons, there are uneven quality of students, students learning atmosphere is poor, the purpose of learning is not clear, the phenomenon of low interest in learning. This is particularly evident in the English discipline. Under such circumstances, if the traditional “one-size-fits-all” teaching mode is still practiced, inevitably there will be more and more students with learning difficulties, so that the quality of teaching will be hard to guarantee and the teaching of English will fall into a passive situation. If we want to reverse this situation and effectively implement the principles of individualized teaching so that all students can develop, we must reform the traditional teaching model. Under such circumstances, a more effective teaching mode adapted to the realities of education came into being - hierarchical teaching.
