破伤风是由破伤风桿菌引起的一种以肌肉阵发性痉挛和紧张性收缩为特征的急性特异性感染。破伤风患者首先就诊于口腔科的屡见不鲜。病史确切和具有典型临床症状的破伤风患者诊断并不困难,但对那些仅有1～2个临床症状和无明确外伤史的病例常因误诊而延误治疗。因此,口腔科医师进一步提高对不典型的破伤风的认识,无疑是必要的。笔者最近经治一例拔牙引起的以牙关紧闭为唯一症状的不典型的破伤风病例,现报告如下。
Tetanus is an acute, specific infection caused by tetanus bacillus that is characterized by muscle spasms and tonic contractions. It is not uncommon for tetanus patients to visit dentists first. It is not difficult to diagnose tetanus patients with definite history and typical clinical symptoms. However, for patients with only 1 or 2 clinical symptoms and no definite traumatic injury, they are often delayed due to misdiagnosis. Therefore, stomatologists to further enhance awareness of atypical tetanus, is undoubtedly necessary. The author recently treated by an example of tooth extraction caused by the trismus is the only symptom of atypical cases of tetanus, are as follows.
