UED:您理想中的中国“乡村建筑”是什么样的?张颀:小桥流水人家,这恐怕是很多人的乡村梦。与古罗马、古希腊的工商业文化不同,中国五千年文明属于农耕文明,中国农耕文明的载体是农村——这是一个面向自然、低成本、低消费的“世外桃源”。即使是在已经过度开发、农家乐普遍取代农耕的皖南“著名”村落,也还是有一些让城里人接地气的地方,摩登的农村青年身上也还是有一些农耕文化的影子。而今天的中国城市几乎是千城一面,拥挤、雾霾、欺诈、冷漠、食品安全等等问题让城市人感到灾难深重却又不得不忍受。

And today's Chinese cities are almost the same side of thousands of cities. Overcrowding, smog, fraud, indifference, food safety and other issues make the city people feel disaster but have to endure.
