老龄化问题一直被公认为21世纪重大的世界性社会问题之一。目前全球老龄化正以前所未有的速度发生，并将在未来几十年内加速，特别是在发展中国家。老龄化给我们带来了一系列的医学问题，增加了卫生保健和康复护理的需求。通过回顾我国老年医学的发展历程，阐述目前老年检验医学发展的不足，并介绍老年人相关参考区间建立的方法。“,”The aging problem has been recognized as one of the major global social problems in the 21st century. Global ageing is occurring at an unprecedented pace and will accelerate in coming decades, particularly in developing countries. Aging brings us a series of medical problems and increases the demand for health care and rehabilitation care. This article reviews the development of gerontology in China, expounds the current deficiencies in the development of geriatric examination, and introduces the methods for establishing relevant reference intervals for the elderly.
