语义 “媒介”在英文中有若干不同的表达方式与含义。通常: ①Media指传播媒介,Mass media特指报纸、电视、广播这一类大众传播媒介。 ②Medium指传播消息之媒介或艺术形式。如His best work was in the medium of oil paints(他最好的作品是以油画颜料画的)。这一单词的另外一个意思是指作为生存环境的介质媒介物,如鱼在水中,声音在空气中传送,水和空气就是medium。 ③Vehicle这一单词常用于交通工具,但也含有传播某种东西的媒介的载体性质。 我认为,媒介的上述三种用法都含有作为出发与终点、发出与接收的中间位置即“中介”的含义。作为“中介”的媒介具有物质、信息、能量、情感等的载体性质。
Semantic “media” has several different expressions and meanings in English. Usually: ① Media refers to the media, Mass media refers to newspapers, television, radio and other mass media. ②Medium refers to the media or art form of dissemination of information. His best work was in the medium of oil paints (his best work is based on oil paints). The other meaning of this word is medium as a medium of living environment, such as fish in the water, the sound in the air, water and air is medium. (3) The word “Vehicle” is commonly used in transport but also contains the carrier’s nature of the medium through which something is transmitted. In my opinion, the above three uses of the media all contain the meanings of “intermediary” as the starting and ending points of the sending and receiving. The medium as an intermediary has the carrier nature of material, information, energy and emotion.
