从清光绪二十八年九月二十日(公元1902年10月21日)创办至今,西安邮政已有90年的历史。清代的西安邮政,历时9年多,4任邮务总办均由外国人担任。这期间,邮政发展缓慢。国民党统治时期,西安邮政极端落后,1949年5月20日西安解放时,仅有支局7处、邮亭5个、邮路1281公里。1949年函件业务量只有1015万件。邮件传递全靠骡驮担挑,邮件搬运全凭人背肩扛。中华人民共和国成立后,西安邮政获得了新生。
Since the Qing Emperor Guangxu twenty-eight years on September 20 (AD 1902, October 21) was founded, Xi’an Post has 90 years of history. Xi’an Post in the Qing Dynasty, which lasted more than 9 years, 4 post office are held by foreigners. During this period, postal development was slow. During the reign of the Kuomintang, Xi’an Post was extremely backward. On May 20, 1949, when Xi’an was liberated, there were only 7 branch offices, 5 postal posts and 1281 postal routes. In 1949 there were only 10.15 million correspondence. Mail delivery depends on the mule burden, picks carry the whole person back shoulder carry. After the founding of People’s Republic of China, Xi’an Post gained a freshman.
