Methods A total of 110 type 2 diabetic patients with 110 community-based family doctor service agreements signed from September 2015 to September 2016 were selected as the management group and 110 type 2 diabetes patients without the community doctor’s service contract were selected as the control group. Patients in the management group were given community-based family doctors services in accordance with the signed agreements, and regularly conducted type 2 diabetes publicity, home visits and health supervision. One year later, the blood glucose, blood lipids and blood pressure were measured in two groups of patients. Results Before the implementation of the agreement, there was no significant difference in the blood glucose, blood lipids and blood pressure between the management group and the control group (P> 0.05). The blood glucose (62.7%), blood lipid 43.6%), blood pressure (46.4%) was significantly better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion Family doctor has obvious regulation on blood sugar, blood lipid and blood pressure in community type 2 diabetic patients, which can significantly improve the quality of life of patients.
