This paper examines the impact of information on the insured demand for small-sum health insurance through experimental economics research methods. The experimental results show that in the case of inadequate information provision, the demand for micro-health insurance is less than the optimal social demand and the adequate provision of information can significantly increase the demand for micro-health insurance. Knowing the exact probability of the disease can significantly increase the demand for outpatient and inpatient insurance, and understanding a wider range of risk and claims information can significantly increase the demand for hospitalization insurance, but providing both information is not significantly better than Only provide accurate information on the probability of occurrence of the disease.
